A pre-drywall inspection is performed after framing and rough-in systems are installed, but before insulation and drywall conceal them. This allows for a visual review of key components while they are still accessible.

At this stage, visible framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems can be reviewed to note installation concerns and areas that may require attention before the home is closed up.
